The Screw Crease is a traditional saddlers tool, also known as a Creasing Iron
 
The new generation screw crease incorporates the original George Barnsley & Sons design but has been updated and refined to give a superior leather creasing tool of the higest quality.
 
The highly poloished shield-shaped head is split into two halves with the distance between them controlled by a thumb screw. It has a blunt blade, once the blade is warmed it is used for imprinting lines on the surface of leather
 
Used by modern day leathercrafters on projects from belts and bags to wallets and key rings!
 
Available in either left or right handed with a choice of wooden handles all hand finished with tru-oil to bring out the woods natural grain and stunning colours
 
Wood choices include Beech, Walnut, Bubinga, Zebrano, Purple Heart and Rosewood
